Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom, with skills intentionally developed across all areas of the curriculum. Our carefully structured programme covers English storytelling and drama, conversational isiZulu and Afrikaans, practical mathematics, enriched Life Skills, weekly Physical Education with a qualified coach and specialised music and movement lessons by NexGen.

Language Development

Multi-lingual exposure with conversational isiZulu and Afrikaans, plus English lessons emphasizing storytelling and dramatic expression. Fostering communication skills and cultural awareness from an early age.

Physical Education

Formal Physical Education lessons taught weekly by a qualified coach, developing gross motor skills, coordination and a love for active play in a fun, supportive environment.

Mathematics Foundations

Hands-on learning with concrete materials that make numbers fun and accessible, building mathematical thinking through games, puzzles and real-world problem-solving activities.

Life Skills & Nature

Life Skills lessons extended with shows, nature walks and tangible learning experiences that develop social skills, environmental awareness and practical knowledge about the world around us.

Music & Movement

Weekly specialized music sessions conducted by NexGen, an external music provider, developing rhythm, creativity and self-expression through song, dance and musical exploration.

Creative Arts

Nurturing creativity and fine motor skills through painting, drawing, crafting and imaginative play that allows children to express themselves and develop artistic confidence.

Morning Circle

Each day begins with morning circle time, building community and routine. Children share experiences, learn calendar concepts, practice social skills and prepare their hearts and minds for the exciting learning ahead.

Learning Stations

Hands-on exploration at various learning stations where children engage with math manipulatives, literacy activities, sensory experiences and creative projects. Teachers guide and support as children make discoveries at their own pace.

Outdoor Play

Daily outdoor time for physical development and social skills. Children develop gross motor skills, practice teamwork, explore nature and simply enjoy being young. Play is learning, and learning is play.

Reception Year (RR)

Our Reception Year programme introduces young learners to the joy of school in a nurturing, play-based environment. Children develop foundational social skills, learn to follow routines and begin their literacy and numeracy journey through games, songs and hands-on activities. This gentle introduction to formal schooling builds confidence and a love for learning.

Grade R (Reception)

Grade R builds on the foundations laid in RR, preparing children for the transition to Grade 1. Our programme balances structured learning with continued play-based exploration, developing school readiness skills while maintaining the joy and wonder of early childhood. Children gain confidence in literacy and numeracy while developing the independence and self-regulation needed for primary school success.
